Hello everyone, I have everything thing which will lead to a 60% from my diabetes. The only thing I noticed is my doctor randomly put “diet not restricted” and I seen my DBQ for my diabetes and seen that I didn’t have a diet restriction checked off. which is completely not true because I am a low carb diet and when I confronted the endo about it she said “you are on a regulated diet and she can’t cut carbs completely because it’s unhealthy” I feel like this is a strategy to give me a lower percent. My question is what should I do and what percent will I be getting because I’m scared that I might get a 0% dod for my diabetes when it should be a 60% also I need advice in should I request a new doctor considering she intentionally put that by editing my medical records when I left the office and didn’t even tell me?

I understand your concern about the accuracy of your medical records and the potential impact on your disability benefits. It is important to have an honest and open relationship with your healthcare provider to ensure the best possible care and treatment.

If you feel that your doctor intentionally misrepresented your medical condition or treatment, you may want to consider seeking a second opinion from another healthcare provider. You can also consider filing a complaint with the appropriate medical board or regulatory agency in your area.

Talk to your VA examiner when you do your rating exams.
