Timeline inquiry

I started my process back in April 2020 (USMC btw). I had my VA appointments in October 2020. I signed my Ember February 2nd, 2021. I just got the message in MOL stating that my case has been accepted by the PEB on April 27th, 2021. It’s been basically a year in this process and have never gotten any updates when I ask or anything. Is there anyone other than the PEBLO I can talk to about anything. I would figure the VA would have their proposed rating by now. Any help would be appreciated.

I am basically in the same boat as you. My appointments were all done back in oct 2020 and have been sitting waiting to be found fit/unfit..

I called the VA and asked what they recommended and they said they could email me the proposed findings. It was super easy once they verified your information. I'm currently waiting for the navy to fit/unfit me. Kind of rediclious. Hope this helps.

My Timeline is exactly the same as yours bro. Been on a board for almost a year and got accepted for PEB on the 27th of April. If you keep me updated about your status I’ll do the same.
Cheers

It’s sounding like the PEB is short staffed or something, which doesn’t surprise me honestly. I’ve been hearing people getting their stuff back around the 11th-12th week so I guess I can look forward to that arbitrary timeline like the rest of the timelines my peblo has given me.

Just annoying that DoD sets a 45 day timeline and like always the military doesn't comply...

Cause ya know, mission only comes first when it describes an enlisted member's work.

In 2017 i was found fit for duty by the Air Force Reserve with an ALC-C3 for sleep apnea and back issues. My re-evaluation of the deployment waiver was April 2020. During review of medical records I was found unfit for a couple more issues. So the whole process started over with a new board. This has been dragging on and on. In February my Commander recommended that I not be retained for these conditions. It is now June 2021, and my packet has not even left base. I am very frustrated with this whole process. In 14 months basically nothing has been done. The medical section will ask for something. Then when I told to them they tell me they do not need what they were requesting. Is there a timeline that should be followed? I understand covid, but seriously a 14 month delay is kind of crazy. Am I just at the mercy of the system? To be honest I do not even know what procedures are and where I stand.

here is a good starting off point to see where you are: https://cms.mods.army.mil/cms/protected/report/soldierDashboard.aspx

this can only be accessed via government computer with CAC login. I also recommend checking the VA website under claims.

I would imagine y'all have some sort of equivalent. I honestly never noticed the army in that link lol

Any updates to your status? Still haven’t gotten anything from DOD.

Negative, I hit up my PEBLO once a week for updates and it’s the same story for hundreds of cases. I wish the DoD would get their heads out of their ass. Every time I hit up my PEBLO he checks on my case and responds with the same “sorry but there are no updates at this time” yatta yatta.

There still is no movement on mine. I am now at the point over 19 years where I want it to be delayed so that I can hit my 20. With my luck I’m sure that will not happen.
