TO MUCH MONEY

Does anyone know the regulation, where the military can discharge you for making to much money? Thank you.

It's called a "convenience of the government" discharge we had a service member that got a fat inheritance about 3 mil the red tape to get this discharge it quite long and included a CID investigation among other things, in the end he just waited it out. Remember it's convenience of the government NOT the servicemember if you are in a high value job expect the request to be denied. Good luck

The "myth" is it is a conflict of interest - this is only possible if it is believed you are so well off you might be a distraction or high value target.
If the military believes your finances can hinder your performance then it will be investigated. There are many other reasons that in the convenience of the government your separation would be in its best interest, it's not limited to financial reasons.

That type of stuff generally falls under AR 600-20 Army Command Policy, chapter 4. It would have to affect "good order and discipline" or be a conflict of interest as mentioned above. There is nothing specifically in a regulation that covers it.
