Use or Lose Leave Days Help MEDBOARD

Hello all I recently received my DA199 Thursday the 23rd with an election date of the 28th. There are a couple factors I would like feedback on — I have 27 days of use or lose leave, and am currently in skill bridge that ends on the 18th of July. My goal is to complete skill bridge and not have to sell any days of leave. One of my ratings (migraines) is rated at 30% which I believe should have been 50% based off of my medical records, my other rating is 100% MH. Should I do a VA rating rebuttal? I am still awaiting to hear back from legal, they have not reached out or responded to my PEBLO yet. I would also plan to request for the 20 PTDY and 60 terminal leave days. Thank you for your Help!

As long as that condition is found unfitting you can submit a VARR for migraines to try to get it increased from 30% to 50%. That will delay the process and will help you reach the end of skillbridge:)

Thank you for your fast reply, just to make sure if I submit a VARR for migraines would they/could they change the rating for my MH ? I anticipate since legal has not reached out yet (I think they are backed up) that will extend my process as well.

My wife asked her attorney the same questions. He said no because the VARR will only look at the condition that you request. They can't look at the other conditions. The FPEB is where anything can be looked at and changed. For the VARR you are safe:)
