LDES timeline question

Hi all. New here. Forgive me if I’ve posted in the wrong place, I don’t do forums... usually. I’m being medically separated/retired for Dysthymic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. I have chosen LDES to be with my wife and kids sooner, for my own sanity. After being found.. let’s assume UNFIT, how long after that phone call I’ll be receiving can I move on with life? Actually be separated that is. I look forward to hearing back. Thank you all so much. I’m loosing my mind at an alarming rate over here.

Bump?

Every time line is different.
Thank you for the feedback. LDES is a bit quicker from my little bit of knowledge. So I’m curious if I get to choose a date or something like that.

LDES may be quicker by two-three weeks. However, It means you have to go threw the whole VA process once you are out.

At this point you have two conditions that you are being rated for the chances are that the total rating will be higher than 30% depending on branch of service are greater then not.

10 years service Navy. Yeah the attorney seems to be very certain of a medical retirement at this point. I appreciate you confirming your thoughts on that as well. Honestly, not trying to get one over on the Navy. I just.. at this point need to be with my wife and children. Like I stated in the original post, losing my mind. The terrible part of being Med Boarded IDES or LDES, is it seems no one is really familiar with any of it. Attorney seems to think I could be gone sometime in April, that's the only idea of a time frame I have currently. Also, yes I'll be handling VA on my own time once I do separate, and that is absolutely fine with me. Thank you for the feed back RaiderX.
