Trying to figure out my CRSC payment Thank you!
 
Hello,

The following is needed for someone to compute your CRSC in the PEB forum:
Needed within one reply:
1.--Average high three for basic pay (total of the highest 36 months of pay divided by 36) As an alternative (and better) cite the gross retired pay on the most recent DFAS RAS. Indicate which you are furnishing.
2.--DoD disability percentage
3. --Active duty years and months (or active duty equivalent for RC members)
4. --VA compensation
percentage;
amount;
dependents by category;
and ages of dependent children.
Also provide information pertaining to any SMCs you receive.
5.--Projected or approved CRSC percentage by your service.
6.--Whether you qualify for another type retirement and whether you transitioned to the blended retirement system
7.--Did you receive a REDUX/CSB payment?
8.--Did you accept the Blended Retirement program option?

-- I have 14 years 5 months of active duty
--I receive 80% VA with is $1819 with souse no kids
--Approved 30% CRSC-- wife
--I don’t qualify for any other retirement and I did not transition to the Blended Retirement System.

Hello,

Your CRSC is $493.35 since that rate (found in VA comp tables) is lower than the longevity portion of your retirement pay.
I will post the details once my electricity returns. Ron

Here is the breakdown:
--1530/40% = 3825 high three
--retired pay reduced to zero by amount of VA comp
--14.42 AD x 2.5% = 36.05% longevity multiplier
--3825 x 36.05% = 1378.91
--CRSC at 30% with spouse in VA comp tables = $493.35 (one of the ceilings)
