I came across this website and seen a lot of timelines from different places but barely any from JBER so here’s my timeline so far.

Referred to MEB 24 February

IDES First contact 24 February

IDES/VA Brief 03 March

1st C&P Appointment 13 March

Last C&P Appointment 07 April ( 5 total )

Received NARSUM 29 April

Contacted by Legal to go over findings 05 May (found unfit and 2nd P3 was added as unfitting condition)

Signed NARSUM 01 May

Packet sent to PEB 01 May

IPSSA shows MEB completed 01 May

Waiting on PEB ratings, was told 10-12 weeks by the PEBLO and 4-10 weeks by Legal hopefully I hear something soon.

Case closed on VA APP/Website 15 May

Does anyone know how long after case shows closed would I hear back from the PEBLO?

Thanks for sharing the update. My case was sent to the PEB of 21 MAR and I am still waiting for my proposed ratings. I’m on week 8.

If you don’t mind me asking, how many total claims did you have?

Hey Naptime05,
I claimed over 30+ conditions but almost all of them were documented/diagnosed by a provider before the MEB started.
Have you check the VA website? to see that it says? I read people saying that after it shows complete you’ll get your DoD/VA ratings within a week or 2 I just want to confirm if this is true.
Are you at JBER too?

No, I’m at Bragg. I have roughly 30 claims too with the vast majority of them previously diagnosed.

I’ve been checking the website and it has not shown a closed claim yet. VA customer service informed me that my case is in the decision phase. I am just getting antsy because I keep seeing other cases closing before mine haha.

what’s your TIS? I will be right at 20 years once this is all over.

I heard Bragg is pretty slow.. I was there for 3.5yrs, right now only 6yrs TIS. Hopefully you hear back soon. But with 20yrs in I’ll prefer them taking their time so you can get what you have earned.

Call VBA to email me the decision/proposed rating letter VA, proposed 100% the letter also says this
"Your military service department requested a disability assessment from VA because you were found unfit for continued military service”
If I have to guess that means the PEB also found me unfit and they just have to apply to ratings which hopefully won’t take too long.

19 May- Called VBA to email me the proposed rating letter VA, proposed 100% doesn’t mention if its T&P or anything, the letter also says this

May 22- Phone call with Legal to go over findings I guess that just a thing to make sure everything is good.

Hell yeah! I'm right behind you! I got my timeline posted on here as well. Just signed my narsum last Friday..

Considering I've been waiting way longer than 3 months just to get to the initial VA appointment I would say this timeline was quick. But it really depends on the base and the case.
 
It definitely is a case and base thing. Took me forever to get to the backend of the process. All worked out, just the waiting and not knowing portion can be very disheartening at times. Hopefully you hear something back soon on your end in regards to your exams.

Was told they were going to cut my orders for tomorrow so fingers cross.
 
Congrats man.. I'm toeing the line with leave days, if this goes past 30 September..lol

why is that? the lady at transitions said that you have 90 days from when they get the packet. So once the PEB is completed and trans gets it back that's when the 90 days starts. idk if you saying it because of the whole timeline thing or the fiscal year lol.
 
Ya the fiscal year. I have 21 use or lose so I'm thinking I'm going to have to use them especially since little take some time after finalizing everything to clear and actually get out. I'm staying local in Hawaii so it shouldn't be too much time. I'd love 82 days of leave though..lol

Na you should be good tho, if your case already move to the PEB no way they're going to take 2 months to process your stuff.
