Hello everyone,
I just received my DA 199 today and now that I know that the medical retirement is officially happening, I'm looking to see if I can get some help understanding both the RAS pay and then CRSC. Here are my parameters if anyone is interested in giving me some insight:
*Side note, I understand my actual retirement pay will be offset by my VA Pay, I'm still just looking to understand how my retirement pay will be calculated.
National Guard M-Day PDRL
16.5 Years of Service
High-3 is E-7
2440 Retirement Points=6.7 Yrs of AD Service after the math
100% DoD(Combat Related)/100% VA(Total Retirement pay will be offset by VA)
So my list of questions is:
1.What could I be looking at for CRSC?
2.How is my actual retirement pay calculated?
a. Is it based off the DFAS tables as if I was Active Duty? For example, will my RAS be as an E-7 with 6.7 YOS or 16.5 YOS?
Thank you to anyone who can give some insight!
