    NARSUM HELP

A couple of things come to mind. 1. Schedule an appointment with your IDES counsel. He/she will go over your NARSUM. They should be able to give you an honest opinion of what they think. As far as a number though to be over 30!?!? I’m not sure!?!? I got 40 percent for my back. 2. If you have...

    6 weeks with PERS

I would be calling everyone at this point. Yes 6 weeks is super long, I’m sure some will agree to disagree but I signed my findings on April 24th and got my PDRL date on May 7th. I felt that was a long wait because you’re pretty much at the end of it and yeah it is hurry up and wait but also at...

Navy Hawaii Timeline - Is this normal?

A few questions/concerns come to mind? 1. Did you sign any paper work with your PEBLO and attorney? Should have be given the option of electing IDES/LDES, which hopefully they explained what each one was. You should be going with IDES!!! 2. With your NMA!?!? You have already laid eyes on it...

    Update/PDRL Message

This is an update to my timeline and findings. So just a quick refresh, my findings came back April 17th. I was found UNFIT. Took the time to meet with my DES counsel to go over everything and continued to get all my retirement paper work done in the process. My goal was to have all my...

Retirement pay and not VA help

Ron, Thank you for getting back with me in a timely manner. I never filled a form out. My MSC pre populated everything during the beginning of my medical board. I haven’t had my exit interview not sure if that’s what we would finalize or not?

How long does it take for providers to put signatures on narsum?

I completely understand your concern! Unfortunately, you have done your part and you’re just really waiting! That’s the really crappy part, HURRY UP AND WAIT!!! It’s the worst, you just gotta keep yourself occupied and busy

Medical conditions that may not be in records.

You can claim stuff that you have never been to medical for. Thats what the Head to Toe exam is for. I had like 10 claims that I put in for but were never in my record but was able to get 10 percent for because I was in pain during my exam for instance my knees, shoulders, wrist and so forth...

How long does it take for providers to put signatures on narsum?

Your C&P results are uploaded for the doctors to review!! So technically in a sense they are but it’s not til later at the MEB stage. The MEB stage is all admin, VA, legal brief, NARSUM and then PEB is the fitness for determination. I hope I’m not confusing you, the whole process is confusing...

How long does it take for providers to put signatures on narsum?

No it doesn’t, however when you get your C&P exams done and they finish auto populating to your MEB, there is a chance that the doc could add conditions at that point. So for mine, my last C&P finished up on January 2nd and I was able to see it January 8th on TOL. From there it was radio...

How long does it take for providers to put signatures on narsum?

Should be the doc who referred you for your MEB/unfitting condition. Then you have another doc that reads and either concurs or does not concur with your condition. At least that’s how my worked. My PCM at my command wrote up my NARSUM, Submitted it to the hospital and then a separate doc read...

Gotcha! Well at least the VA moved pretty quick. Yeah well I would that you would get back pay from DFAS then from the day you separated?
