Active Duty AF - Asthma/Back Timeline

Nov 2023 - Officially diagnosed with moderate persistent asthma by off base provider.
Jan 2024 - PCM caught the diagnosis and told me this is a 'boardable' condition. Had to complete several PFTs. Also have been on a code 31 profile for my lower back for 2/3 years.
(Nov 2023 - Jun 2024 - placed on several different inhalers & pills to try to become stable).
Jun 2024 - Started monthly biologic injection medication due to other treatments not working (was told that being on this med will auto-board me and most likely be medboarded out).
Aug 2024 - PCM advised me that my case was being looked at by DAWG.
Oct 2024 - PCM advised me that my case is being brought up at the local MTF ARMO (occurs biweekly).
Nov 25 2024 - PCM advised me that my NARSUM has been sent to PEBLO
Nov 27 2024 - Code 37 applied to IMR 469.
Dec 2 2024 - Commander sits down with me to go over and fill out CIS. "Do Not Retain"
Dec 3 2024 - Commander sends CIS to PEBLO.
Jan 7 2025 - Reached out to PCM for update on my case. Wasn't aware if it was submitted to AFPC or not.
Jan 8 2025 - Received email from PEBLO that contained SHA, SHA guide and my FL4. "Full MEB Required"
Jan 13 2025 - First meeting with PEBLO. Went over the IDES briefing. Was told that MSC will contact me within 2 weeks.
Jan 15 2025 - MSC meeting. Filled out 526EZ.
Jan 28 2025 - First C&P Exam
Feb 5 2025 - Final C&P Exam
Feb 20 2025 - All DBQs uploaded to Tricare Online Portal.
Mar 3 2025 - Met with PEBLO/signed 618.
Mar 5 2025 - Package sent to IPEB. MyFSS notification received via email.
Mar 6 2025 - Spoke with AF Wounded Warrior Rep. Setup formal meeting for following week to get referral setup and other info.
Mar 27 2025 - MyFSS email received stating findings have been sent to PEBLO.
Mar 31 2025 - Met with PEBLO to sign 1180. DOD 100% PDRL & VA 100% P&T.
Apr 15 2025 - Accepted into AF Wounded Warrior program.
Apr 29 2025 - After a month, finally received retirement orders.
Aug 16 2025 - DD214 uploaded to VA via quick-submit.
Aug 18 2025 - Officially retired.
Post-Retirement
Aug 18 2025 - VA claim reopened - step 5 of 8.
Sep 1 2025 - paid by DFAS initial period retirement pay for 18 Aug - 31 Aug.
Sep 3 2025 - Moved to step 6 of 8.
Sep 7 2025 - Moved back to step 5 of 8.
Sep 9 2025 - Moved to step 6 of 8, then step 7 of 8.
Sep 11 2025 - Moved to step 8 of 8. VA rating finalized and claim closed. All ratings stayed the same except VA adjusted a CUE and gave a higher rating for one condition.
Sep 17 2025 - Received notification from DFAS that VA waiver has been setup in mypay.
Sep 19 2025 - CRSC application submitted via myfss.
