It's been over 609 days since I started this process

If you haven't received any pay, then you are no longer AD in the system, because you would still be (erroneously) getting AD pay. But you aren't getting paid DOD or VA pay either, which would indicate you weren't separated properly. My suspicion would be that at the very least, your retirement...

How long is QA process once found unfit?

From what I have seen, most of the PEBLOs who give approximate timelines are inaccurate. Either they just straight up do not know and they are only going on gouge, or they are giving an estimate based on previous experience or trends. Therefore, if the timeline is getting shorter for any step in...

It's been over 609 days since I started this process

I am driving right now, doing all of this by voice to text. Shoot me a PM so I don't forget. I will hit you up later with a couple more questions.

What branch? If you are also navy, I have a feeling that I may know what is going on with your issue, since it is much more recent. Not necessarily the case for the OP, since it has been a few months.

It's been over 609 days since I started this process

This is probably going to be a real stupid question, but have you confirmed that you were properly separated from service and that you are not somehow still in an active duty status? Are you receiving pay from any entity in any form whatsoever?

Sailors and Marines separated between Sept. 12, 2016, and June 11, 2018 eligible for new PEB

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I suspect this will be a lot of noise over nothing/very little. Especially since people know your rating can go *down* instead of going up. Be interesting to see how many people take them up on this.

    TDRL to AD

Exactly what @Provis said. TDRL to FIT is not automatic readmittance to service. You are *retired.* The only way to come back after TDRL to FIT, after your paperwork is updated to negate your disability, is to go to a recruiter. And they don't *have* to take you.

    VA disability before PEB results

More or less. The whole premise of IDES is that DOD and VA are both required to follow 38 CFR, and in IDES, VA "goes first" in rating a condition. Then the service PEB rates those conditions that are unfitting for service. If everything works the way it is supposed to, the PEB percentage should...

    VA disability and PEB

100% truth. Just because the VA rated you for a condition does not necessarily mean that condition is something that DOD would consider disabling from further service and grant you potential retirement benefits for. Also, as @RonG stated, you don't "apply." Your provider has to refer you. And...

    VA disability before PEB results

Yes, that is completely normal. The VA has to do their findings first, and then the PEB has to reconvene to verify their findings against the VA numbers and 38 CFR. Have patience.

    TDRL Appeal

If you look at the law, it absolutely depends. "Mental health" is not a catch-all. Sorry if I was too general.
  12. P

    TDRL Appeal

The determination of temporary versus permanence has very little that can be appealed, because it is based on the medical condition, and often there is law behind it, such as for medical health conditions. If the condition is not stable, then it's going to be placed on a temporary retirement...

    New EAOS?

2-4 weeks from signing for PEB to push your index to NPC. That's assuming your PEBLO sends it to PEB immediately after you sign. A couple days after that for your separation authorization message to go out. Then your command needs to have their shit together in message traffic to find it...

That's too bad. I have seen a lot of other Navy commands do it a lot earlier.

Out of curiosity, why are you waiting to do skillbridge?

    TDRL Re evaluation question

Yeah, that makes sense, that's why I said it depemds on your condition. But for like, ortho cases, they actually have to measure ROM and shit.

    TDRL Re evaluation question

Different based on your TDRL condition. But it's a medical exam, not necessarily an interview.

    TDRL Re evaluation question

It seems like you are asking about changes to your DOD rated conditions, although you do throw in some language specific to the VA process. Remember, DOD and VA are two different processes. But if you are looking for changes to your DOD rated conditions, after you are already out, then your only...
