Colorado 100% P&T Vets (Property Tax)

Wife & I are in the process of buying a house, so I looked up the property tax exemption. Apparently, it reduces the actual value (up to $200k) of your home by 50%. This would mean approx 20% off our prop taxes for this house. I'm not even sure if one could find a house in Colorado worth $200k...

Post 9/11 GI Bill BAH Amount Incorrect

Have any of you experienced this? VA is saying they are going to pay me $16 a month less than what the BAH amount is for my school's zip code in Denver, CO. I was thinking about just calling the 800 number, but I was wondering if there is a reason for this that I don't know about. Is this normal?

    VA Choice Card Program?

Does the choice card program apply for those that are within 40 miles? I've read both, that you have to be over 40 miles away and over 30 days and I've read that either one makes you eligible. Almost all of my appointments are over 30 days, but I'm within 40 miles. Also, does this apply for...

    100% P&T with IU / SSDI?

I'm 100% P&T and just started the appeal process for SSDI. I was wondering if applying for IU would be smart to help with my chances of getting SSDI. If I did get IU, would I automatically lose my P&T rating or would the IU just be inlcuded in with the 100% P&T rating?

Selling Leave in Excess of 60 days?

Does anyone know of any exceptions to the 60 day leave sell rule? Due to the fact that I wasn't allowed to take leave during the MEB and such a short turn around from the decision/retirement date, apparently I maxed out my 60 day leave sell. I now have 16 days of leave that is lost.
