Hello
I am currently 67 days out from my terminal leave and 78 days from EAOS.
My command has brought to my attention today that I have had 3 med waivers for my PRT in the last four years and that they may have to med board me.
I do not wish for this to happen as i am getting out so soon and just want to carry on with my life after the military.
Anyone know if this is possible for them to start this process so close to my EAOS?
Thank you!

From my understanding regarding the medical board process it is not the command that initiates this but a doctor. Usually you are on limited duty for certain period of time due to the same injury, but once you reach a certain time period, they (the doctor) can initiate a medical board process. If your medical condition was incurred while on active duty and has left you unfit to continue military service, it might be better for you in the long run to go through a medical board/PEB processes to ensure you receive the proper care for your injury that happened while you were on active duty after you get out, and there are benefits that could possible come along with this process, after they (Med Board/PEB) finds your injury leaves you unfit to continue military service and depending on the rating assigned to them by the PEB.

This website is filled with tons of usefully information and if you are in the process of the Med Board I would get a hold of a RCC recovery care coordinator and these people are a wealth of information on the process and can guide and help you. If you have a wounded warrior regiment or command near you see if they have any RCC available to help guide you, the PEBLO will also be able to help you regarding the process. I would look into this and ensure what the benefits to you might be regarding your injury for your future before making a decision to just try and EAS out of service with an injury. I believe that once the process for a medical board is started even if your EAS is 60 some days away they usually administrative 99999999 out your EAS and/or assign you a new EAS.

I am fit for full duty right now they're just trying to because I've med waived 3 pets in the past 4 years.
I am injured but the doctors have said there is nothing they can do and it's nothing that would kick me out of the navy.
:/

A commanding officer can request a fitness for duty exam, which if you fail the fitness for duty exam that drops a coin in the MEB process start slot.

When you say "I am injured but the doctors have said there is nothing they can do and it's nothing that would kick me out of the navy" that seems a little strange. If you are injured and getting waivers there are things you clearly cannot do which would indicate you are entitled to some sort of severance or retirement and VA benefits.

That's not enough time for a PEB/MED board to go all the way up. At some point you will have to be removed from LIMDU so you can retire at 20.

Get a hold of the PSD LIMDU coordinator and PEBLO in you area, they should be able to clarify your situation.

Check your service regulations. In my service branch enlisted can reject a med board/Officers can not. Perhaps you can just reject the process.
