Anyone gotten a weigh in waiver due to being on antidepressants?
I know it’s possible. Your PCM just has to mark the box that you are on a medication that causes weight gain. I was being send for mental health but I declined meds and I was put on BCP which literally just worsens the mental health aspect but that’s using common sense.

I'm a month or maybe month and a half away from getting findings (July) and there's a small chance I may pick up so my command is just trying to screw me over one last time. I need off this crazy train so fucking bad already.
definitely talk to your pcm, i know a couple people who have gotten a waiver

I’d just call/email your PCM before going to step on the scale and ask so you know before hand if it’s a med that they waive or not and then decide if you can drop the lbs/make tape. I work in S3 now and do weighins daily if you have any questions.

I was also only 3 lbs over but I chose not to give a damn anymore and took the BCP. I was also actively trying for a year to get pregnant with my husband and didn’t want to do any of the stupid shit I had done in the past to damage my organs any further.

They already took my rank a year ago for something that could have been a 6105 or an ass chewing, trying to finish the job I guess.
ridiculous, i’m sorry bud. it’s not worth hurting yourself for weight though, all these people are not going to matter soon. (besides the fact our weight standards are literally non realistic and we’re in a organization that promotes eating disorders) i remembered seeing this on facebook and thought maybe it could help, if your pcm won’t.

Thank you, I appreciate it. And you're right, I know quite a few of marine vets with body dysmorphia due to having to always look and be a certain way. I just want to be out and be able to live my life.
of course! it really does sucks, we’re all going to get there soon though. each day is one day closer, and hey at least we all got each other right now

Does anyone know the order? Im gonna fight for it since I cant run or do anything cardio related because of my knee injury.

Yea same happened with me. My MO said all I had to do was the packet for BCP and he would reject due to limdu. It ended there. All I get now is the usual out of standards message on mol.

Thanks, we just switched MOs recently because apparently my old one was doing shady stuff at the clinic. Hope he's willing to help out, if I'm over. I got until the first to slay myself.
Got put on BCP while on the Med Board. BN Co and SgtMaj just said to put me on since I'm getting out anyway. I haven't shown up for weigh ins or the PT. My S-3 and command know the order is BS anyway so on paper only am i on the program. I know this is just my own experience, but who knows, they just viewed me as so far in the process that they won't Adsep me over it. My PEB acceptance was June 11th and I got my findings back on Tuesday, just waiting on my new EAS. I'm basically one foot out the door already.

Yea you’re technically unfit to do the bcp program but have to be in height/ weight standards. If you don’t care about picking up it won’t have any effect on you.

ahhhh you’re right behind me in the process then. Hopefully we get our new EAS next week or the one after.
