How are timelines in 2022

I’ve finished my Qtc exams on 09SEP22 and was wondering how the averages of timelines has gone so far this year.

Does the time it takes to get ratings back go based on referred condition or all conditions? I have conditions that I went to exams for that were physical and mental health, as well.

My wife is due on Jan 31st and the new bill that pushes SCL leave to 12 weeks starts next year and I don’t know if that would collide with a date to potentially be out lol
Thanks!

They seem to be going faster now that COVID is less of a concern. The board is rumored to have more ppl. Recent timelines I've seen once you send your package to the board are about 3 months from acceptance.

My package was held back 2 months because it wasn't communicated to me that the didn't have the NMA yet. So ensuring they have everything they need will help.

As far as number of conditions effecting the timeline of your rating it shouldn't. DOD rating normally takes the longest and only considers your referred condition.

The leave should be fine just try to get everything you can for your check out process before then. You'll probably have to come back from leave to sign your findings and actually process out.

I'm a Marine on Lejeune so all the info is from that point of view. Hope this helped

It definitely helps, I’m in the Navy and we pretty much have the same process for MEB/PEB. I’m in the process of making sure my command gets the NMA in before my exam results go into TOL to keep everything running smoothly

Navy and USMC is one and the same PEB. Only difference is service HQ processing differences.

I just read in another post that the NAVY (& MARINE CORPS) is at an all-stop. The PEB processing shit went down and they have no idea when it will come back up. So, Probably having backed-up people's boards for another couple of months is my guess. this is terrible news considering my board went up on Aug 10th. (USMC) so don't expect to hear anything from your peblos anytime soon.
