I have been out 10 years, but found out PEBLO can be reviewed...

I filed for a PEB review. It is my understanding that the military decided that the PEB review process going on around 10-15 years ago wasn't being decided very fairly. They have been reevaluating older cases. I was originally given 10%, but VA gave me over 90%. I was told that I had a good chance to be retired with the PEB review processs. My injuries were caused during training for combat mission. All my injuries are considered combat related. Does anybody know the full process on the PEB review, it is not an appeal but a review of the original findings? In addition, does anyone know if I would be eligible for CRSC if I am medically retired? I may not have everything exactly right with why they are reviewing older cases, but I do know mine is being reviewed. Anyway to check the status of that review?

Thanks

The review varies by case, to give you an example I started mine in 8/2014 and it still isn't finalized. Here is an overview of the process http://health.mil/pdbr as far as CRSC I think if your over 50% and have combat related findings then you qualify for CRSC. Hope this helps.

DRE27,
I appreciate your response, any idea how yours is going?

I'm just waiting...I spoke with AL and he said he is the last stage and the Army probably haven't made a decision yet. No letter or email...just waiting.

dre27,

I wish you the best with your case! I was originally told to expect a resolution within 90 days. But, I have yet to meet anyone that has had there case resolved that quickly.
