IPEB Timeline

Here is my current timeline:

MEB briefing: 11, Oct 2022
Narsum Submitted: 17, Oct 2022?
VA Claim Call: 26, Oct 2022
4 total VA appointments Final appointment: 08, Dec 2022
Released to DAWG: 27, Dec 2022
DAWG Complete: 02 , Jan 2022
Released to IPEB: 04, Jan 2022
VA Proposed start date: 10, Jan 2022

So now I have entered the black hole known as VA claims. I have about 15 claims so I expect to be here a while. Anyone else in the same timeframe as me?

Oh also, I called the VA to see where it was in the process. 2 weeks ago I was in the decision phase. This week all they told me is "Your case is with the IDES system, for more updates please contact your case manager".
 
Spoke to a VA REP today she said I am pending proposed ratings. She also said when you call use these keywords. "Can you go into my notes and see when the last time my account was accessed". This will tell you if your case is currently being worked. Hopefully this phase means good news is coming soon.

What branch are you? My package was sent up February 1st and I’m being told I won’t get my ratings for another 4 months or longer?? I also had 15 claims

Yeah, I keep calling the VA and keep getting a wide variety of answers. Last rep said that since its a "pre discharge claim" it will be done whenever it gets done. Had no new info. I scheduled an appointment with VERA for tomorrow. So hopefully they can help more.

So my claim was ready for decision since January 10th. That is just the VA saying that they have your claim. When you hear that it is awaiiting final review then you should be done soon.

what number did you call? I've been waiting for a while and want to see if i can get an update from the VA

"Can you go into my notes and see when the last time my account was accessed" Not going to lie, I just called and said this exact phrase after reading it and instead of telling me they couldn't give me any kind of update (4 prior calls), they actually went into my notes and told me everything they had seen. Best thing is was told is that i was in the final decision making phase. Anyone know a rough timeline of that being completed?
