I haven't really seen anyone post much about Kadena AB, so I figured I would start mine. I am currently in the middle of MEB, but will update as I am updated.

NOTE: I have been dealing with this injury for a little over a year before being recommended for MEB.
  • March 4, 2025 Code 37 applied
  • March 31, 2025 - Contacted by PEBLO reviewed and signed IDES Intake.
  • May 2, 2025 - BIG DELAY, CC letter never was written until I followed up and got it signed this day. CC statement DO NOT RETAIN
  • May 14, 2025 - Checked in again, PCM hasn't completed NARSUM.

    That's all for now, still early in the stages and it is taking forever. Only advice for everyone I can give is keep checking in and asking for updates. No one cares about your stuff so take initiative and be annoying! Any suggestions please comment, and I will update as I am told.

    For reference I had 39 claims. As this journey continues, I am losing hope that I will be home in time for the holidays, since it seems like the VA is backed up and taking 3+ months to get a rating out.

    When they say assigned to a team does that mean like they are about to give me a rating or am I just misunderstanding that.

    While I am excited that I am in the decision phase, I feel like this is moving way to fast. I had 39 claims and did 8 complete C&P exams. The DBQ'S were submitted 22 August, so in 5 days, I am already at the decision phase.

    I see some people take up to 3 months after finishing C&P exams, so I am a little nervous. Is this normal?

Just got through the AMRO yesterday and intake today. I've been on code 37 for two or so months now, but my PCM wanted to wait to send a multi-condition report through AMRO and narsum after getting more evidence from specialists. My commander went on leave, so I will probably take a few weeks or so for his letter.

We'll see where it takes me. Hope things keep moving for you.

Yeah, you need the commanders signature. With them on leave, it’ll be a little longer, but there’s so much to it that it really doesn’t stop anything, they just work on something else.

we are almost at the same time frame brother, i am still waiting for PCM to send narsum to peblo but my va has close today and when called they told me they have already sent proposed rating to DOD.
