The MSC told me that the VA has 20 days to rate our cases once sent to them from the PEB
Oh and I meant to ask who's your MSC?
Jeff told me when I called and got able of him a few weeks back they were behind 1200 cases and I’m not sure she just said 20 days. I would have to assume business days being the VA. If that’s the case looks like with the MyNavy career case status on the 6th that I would be passed to the VA that day. So maybe ratings NLT than Friday. I hope!! And I have a Portsmouth MSC so they are different
Anyone get ahold of Jeff, see their case close on VA, or get proposed ratings recently?
Been a quiet week this week. Nobody has any good news still? I was hoping to hear back this week, but my pessimism is starting to set in. Looks like we are all in for the waiting game for a while longer. Jeff's number goes strait to generic voicemail for me.
Yes me too I’m wondering if either his phone line is down, or maybe after so many calls they just changed the number? It is weird to go from customized to generic voicemail. But all week haven’t gotten back to him. My MSC stated it should be done in the 20 day timeframe from them getting it which for business days for me is Friday.
i have about the same timeline as you, but yea looks like a dry week for us. hoping next week brings some sort of light at the end of the tunnel
Spoke to my MSC again for a true update on VA side she said it’s pending a Rater being assigned but once it is then it gets rated fairly quickly. She had mentioned the 20 day is the completion goal but that would be today/tomorrow for me so hopefully it gets assigned a rater soon.
I asked about the case backload Jeff mentioned of 1200 cases and she said the backlog is not with the proposed rating side it’s with those who are in the final steps of getting out and finishing their claims.
She said she would guess my rating would be finished this month to go back to PEB. She said she’s been experiencing total timelines of 9 months from start to getting your findings and I’m right around 6 months in.

This waiting is miserable....
That’s what I told her I said sorry I keep emailing but I’m anxious. They need to change the PEB side to match to MEB side where you can see the progress and steps its in, then for VA show a read only VTA tracker we can view. If your out and submit a case you get a lot

I AGREE! We should be able to see our progress through this process; not have to call and call and call.
I called my MSC yesterday, he said the VA Is not backed up IDES case wise and that they prioritize IDES cases which was the good news. He did say that a rater wasn’t assigned to my case yet because they haven’t gotten notification of my Fit/Unfit status yet which is a little concerning so I thought it was the VA taking their time when really it’s the PEB that are dragging their feet…so more waiting for the PEB unfortunately.
That is very interesting because mine said similar but that it was just waiting assignment of a rater. But the unfit/fit is intriguing especially since we were both told it is at the VA by Jeff so that would mean to me they were told a determination. This process is so strange. I’d love to call and get an update from Jeff but it’s like his phone is ghosted now all this week.
I haven't been assigned a rater either, but my PEBLO told me because I was found unfit, the DoD sent it to the VA for a proposed rating.
