My Timeline - Currently Waiting on VA for Ratings

This was the case with me as well. The VA had me in the decision phase months before I was found unfit. I believe it was just them acknowledging that they had some info but they reassured me that it wouldn’t move to a rater until after the PEB finished.
Yea, I've been in this process for over a year and have allot of useful information. when you are in the decision phase at the VA after peb decision it is just a waiting game, nothing more you can do.

great to know. Thanks

Hey everyone. Figured I would throw my info out there in case it might help anyone else with how they feel about the process.

Referred to IDES: April 28, 2022
Legal Brief: May 5, 2022
C&P Exams Completed: July 6, 2022
Case Sent to PEB: August 10, 2022
Found Unfit and received findings at the same time: March 7, 2022

I am now awaiting my message confirming my acceptance of findings and then waiting on orders. I had zero info after my case was submitted until I received my findings. Peblo and the command liason had no information to give me and wouldn't talk to me because they had no new information.

Hells yes I can live with that. Any update on your FPEB?
*insert laughter that turns into tears*

step 1 - email PEBLO
Step 2 - repeat step 1 till you get a reply
step 3 - ?

EDIT: i guess bitching does work

Good morning Petty Officer,

I cannot give you an exact estimate on the FPEB date but, it could take up to 8 weeks.

I hope this helps.

Congrats!!

I wouldn't care as much if there was clear communication. The lack of transparency in the VA and PEB is just crazy
Yeah it's a shitshow for sure. For me I always felt like the bad buy or they treated me like I was asking too much of them when in reality it was the total opposite. I saw your edit!!! My PEBLO gives me the same answers every time I email.. " I have no idea how long it takes the PEB"

My medical issues started September 10th 2020. Multiple limdu periods, and then referred to IDES April 28th, 2022.

I did not do a VARR as my results came back 100% so I didn't need to have any reconsideration

I'm sorry your IPEB took so long My referral to IPEB completion was 210~ days and that was frustrating enough. Glad you got what you deserved though!

I appreciate it. Now the fun is realizing I have 8 business days before my house hunting and terminal leave starts. Real nice of the Navy... heh
