No word yet...

I signed my narsum on June 10 and I have been waiting to hear something from the PEBLO's. I have been trying to give a little bit of time before asking questions (I don't want to annoy the PEBLO's.)
From what I understand, I am in England and my packet is sent to Randolph for the PEB. I am not sure if this is snail mail or email. I also know that the PEB has 15 days (From what I read in a timeline) to determine fit/unfit, but I am not sure if those are work days or calender days.

On my MPF my "assignment selection" changed to June 26 2015 deferred due to MEB/PEB. Not sure if that is a hint that my stuff arrived at AFPC and started being viewed or what.

Seeing how it has been a month since I signed my narsum, would now be a good time to ask my PEBLO's something, or should I give it a little longer to hear from them?

I'm so confused! My ebenefits states "Review of Evidence" .. so does that mean the VA has my package, therefor I am obviously found unfit? OR not necessarily? I was referred to the PEB in June, finished all exams by July 9, then July 20 my ebenefits changed to "review of evidence" and it says they recieved *something?* from Hampton Roads that day too. I assume my package? I'm probably just being impatient but it would be nice to find out if I'm fit or unfit so I can start planning with my family. :/

When was it sent to the IPEB?

Like many of you guys, mine went to "pending decision approval" almost 2 weeks ago. I really thought it would be quick from here on out, but nothing. No VA letters generated in the "documents tab" no "estimated date of completion" nothing. I feel all your pain, its ridiculous how long this process takes. Hope we all see some progress soon.

Right there with ya man. Talked to my peblo and she said they are officially finished with the ratings, but it could take up to 60 days to get through afpc. Doubt it will take that long, but not much any of us can do. At least ebennies gave us something to look for online. Wish this step did as well.

Derek013,
You're PEBLO was able to tell u that even though u havent hit the "preparation for notification" phase in e-Benefits? Hmm...looks like my PEBLO is getting a call from me soon...

It seems like us three are right around the same timeline. Any day now fellas!

Ebennies still say's review of evidence but called the va today and they told me mine was in the decision phase whatever that means

Whats crazy is that mine has been in the "pending decision approval" step which is actually part of the "rating" phase, according to e-Benefits. I swear, this whole process seems so ass back wards. Some ppl say "dont even pay attention to what e-Benefits says, its not right half the time anyways." I dont know about the rest of you but my PEBLO is absolutely useless. Guy is never available, rarely replies to emails, his voicemail is full b/c the joker isnt even responsible enough to check his messages & clear space for more. I could go on & on. Like many of u on here, Im so ready to just put this all behind me & move on.

Shaggy6019...was the VA rep able to provide u with an ETA on when the "decision phase" would be complete? Did you ask?

Hang in there shaggy. Mine never updated until they were finished with the rating phase.

And ryan, I dont think we hit prep for notification until after we sign 199. Not sure, but I never see that in timelines before the 199. Also, the peblo has a system that tells them when the va has finished your ratings. Now they may not tell you more than that because they arent always set in stone. And if your peblo is really that bad, it can fall under patient neglect.

Sniper, lets just hope and pray none of us have been placed in that category for more evidence. I have heard of this happening and ppl going back to review of evidence. :(

I stopped by my VA medical service coordinator's office today & as soon as i walked in he said "hey, i was just reviewing your file. Has your PEBLO contacted u yet & given you your proposed ratings?" I answered that he hasn't (no surprise) but I'd def contact him. My VA MSC told me my proposed ratings & offered guidance on what my next steps should be. I'm very happy w/ my ratings & expect to hear from my PEBLO tomorrow to officially review my proposed ratings. If the rest of you havent received your proposed ratings, you should be getting them any day now.

Dereck013...I believe your correct about not hitting that stage until later after signing the 199.

HEYYYY!!! atta babe. LOL nice congrats Ryan. Good stuff and congrats on your ratings, hopefully any day now, like I said we are all so close I think that is what is making it so hard to be patient.

Sniper563,
Looking @ your timelime compared to others, i think you are the closest to me as far as dates go. My unfit memo was dated May 29th for when it was forwarded to the VA, I see yours was May 30th. You went to pending decision approval July 23rd, mine changed July 25th. Keep us posted, Im sure you will hear something literally any day now.

Congrats ryan! I am glad you are pleased with your ratings :)

I agree with ya snipes. Being this close does make it hard haha. And I thought the va part was bad enough. This step is the fastest and most exciting. Well... ya know what I mean hahaha

When was it sent to the IPEB?

I have no idea!
I haven't even heard if I was found fit/unfit..I haven't signed anything.
I called my peblo 2 days ago and haven't heard anything back. :/
