Hey, folks I wanted to pass along that if you have or were planning on submitting your claim(s) based on the PACT Act, hold off as it'll only be sent back as "denied". Even though the act was signed, and we all know that, my sources have told me that they will not be processing the Presumptives for CRSC until AFTER the VA implements the Act on their end, early next year at the earliest. I'll follow-up with a new post once I find out that they are processing them. My primary source is the Army CRSC office as I know three of the personnel in that office, even with that in mind, this is the case across all branches.

What if you were already approved for CRSC and started getting monthly payments, does the mean the CRSC retroactive pay might take a while?

Opinion: If you are speaking of non-PACT ACT CRSC retroactive payments, I suspect they will be processed as usual without “influence“ by PACT ACT processing.

1Jan23 is the new target date to start.

I believe my CRSC was approved because of the Pact Act passing, but when I put in my reconsideration paperwork it stated GW for Gulf War syndrome.

My comment was just a guess. During my time in the Army Finance Corps, we worked documents first in, first out.

That experience was when each Army Division had their own finance company/organization—before the advent of DFAS.
