Preparation for Decision Timeline

I called the VA today since I cannot see my MEB progress on va.gov. I was told I am now in the Preparation for Decision. I was wondering what the timeline looks like going forward from this point. She had mentioned 30 days to hear something. I honestly don't believe that due to the backlog of cases.

I didn't believe it either but mine was 3 weeks when I hit the decision phase. You're in step 6. Won't be long, your ratings are right around the corner.

I need this so bad. I don't think people realize the toll it takes in your mental health. My mental health was shit to begin with and this process unfortunately adds another layer of stress and anxiety. Fingers crossed I hear something soon.

Trust me, I understand. My DQ’ing conditions are Major Depressive Disorder and Combat PTSD from 2018. The wait really took a toll on my mental health. The uncertainty kills you everyday.
