Starting this process for sleep issues. Almost 8 years AD. I have dueling diagnoses from a civilian sleep center where I did my sleep study and the navy side (didnt do a sleep study with them). So hopefully this will be helpful for anyone in the future going through this to see how it plays out. Never got on LIMDU but I imagine I will be on LIMDU soon when this moves through the system.

Welcome. You’re in for a long wait. I recommend looking at the master claims list
 
Thanks, I’ve accepted its going to be a slog, especially with specialists disagreeing about my diagnosis which may result in a “fit” finding I have to challenge. I would consider 12 months from start to DD-214 a win lol

Good. It’ll be long, I recommend you start saving money now and stay busy with a hobby. You also still have time to go to medical to get more things documented

If I had to guess I think I am on timeline for a 9-12 month process based on previous posts in this forum. My PEBLO and MSC are helpful and responsive which is huge, I came into this process thinking they would be indifferent but they have been good resources. Hope everyone is doing well

A lot faster than I thought, which is funny because I am one the few people on this board that wanted it to take a long time. But, they didn't schedule me to see a sleep specialist which is the referred condition I am getting the boot for, maybe they already have enough evidence, who knows

PEBLO said I have 5 days to complete my NMA but my unit is having a CoC tomorrow followed by a 96 so that's not gonna work. Luckily my PEBLO is helpful so I gave them a call and I can submit it later but it's the thing holding up my package. For all of you in the future reading this, have your lawyer look over the NMA stuff early in the process. I gave the NMA to mine last week but they've been on leave for a hot minute so its gonna be slow. Not that I am broken up over a slower process but it's crappy to feel like people are waiting on you, I guess the service did change me lol
