Starting this process for sleep issues. Almost 8 years AD. I have dueling diagnoses from a civilian sleep center where I did my sleep study and the navy side (didnt do a sleep study with them). So hopefully this will be helpful for anyone in the future going through this to see how it plays out. Never got on LIMDU but I imagine I will be on LIMDU soon when this moves through the system.

Welcome. You’re in for a long wait. I recommend looking at the master claims list

Thanks, I’ve accepted its going to be a slog, especially with specialists disagreeing about my diagnosis which may result in a “fit” finding I have to challenge. I would consider 12 months from start to DD-214 a win lol

Waiting on getting a lawyer and contact by case PEBLO

Good. It’ll be long, I recommend you start saving money now and stay busy with a hobby. You also still have time to go to medical to get more things documented

Submitted VA Claims document (VA 21-526EZ) and all medical records to MSC: 04/17/26
MSC acknowledged receipt of claims list and records: 04/20/26

NEXT: VA C&P appointments pending, 1-2 weeks for the VA to contact me for appointments, expecting late May/early June for C&P exams

If I had to guess I think I am on timeline for a 9-12 month process based on previous posts in this forum. My PEBLO and MSC are helpful and responsive which is huge, I came into this process thinking they would be indifferent but they have been good resources. Hope everyone is doing well
