@BDUBL In the cases I've had, this is the pattern that emerges: total thyroidectomy = hypothyroidism = VA DC 7903. Start there and jump to your unique residuals. Unfortunately, this is likely the most certainty anyone can give you because hypothyroidism can cause issues in multiple body systems unique to each person. Sadly, this condition is highly idiosyncratic; hence, there is no solid pattern, especially once medications are introduced.

Not sure of the relevance to combat-related special compensation, or are you asking if someone has been approved for CRSC with thyroid carcinoma?
