How many days of leave do you have?Eas update December 15th. With ptad and leave I'll be gone next week hopefully.
That’s amazing! Congratulations!!I had about 30 but they gave me 4 for the days 2 months I won't be here for. Then I took 11 days of ptad. My outbound is already to rpac so my leave is approved. S 1 approves of it. Rpac makes your dd 214 from what rpac told me. So I'm officially on leave November 1st and will pick up my dd 214 somewhere around the 7th
Thank you! It's been a long road lolThat’s amazing! Congratulations!!
You can't take ptad until you get your new eas. If you've already gotten your findings and signed them you'll get your new eas in about 2 weeks. But it can take 4 weeks. Then your new eas will be determined by how many leave days you got and 20 ptad days. After you get your new eas you'll do your outbound interview on mol if you're a marine. Then after the outbound, where youll put leave days and ptad days you want to use so 13 and 20. The s1 will get it and it can take a week or so to process. Mine luckily took a day. It depends on the s1 and how much you bother them. But after s1, rpac will recieve it then you have too no matter what wait 10 days before you'll be able to leave with dd214 in hand. If your terminal and ptad happen before the 10 days are up from when rpac receives it they'll change it to the 10th day. I'd recommend getting all the checking out you can do currently. And see where that leaves you. You're almost out if you have your findings or should recieve em soon. I know how it is. Especially at the end. Stay relaxed. Don't let it stress you@noahscr @louannshoe hey guys i have a question so I got my findings back dec 15 and I signed them dec 18 I’m taking leave in January because I am honestly so sick and tired of the military and I need a mental break as I thought I would’ve been out a long long time ago I’ve been on the board for 2 years now well my question is how can I go about getting PTAD my command sucks and I know nothing about it I always hear PTAD but I don’t really now how that works I’m burning all my leave days now which is only 13 days and I have yet to get my new EAS but I heard it takes 2 weeks and it hasn’t been 2 weeks
I'm sorry just read it again. And missed the point about your findings. So if you did it dec 18 I'd say you'll get your new eas prolly in beginning January. Then it'll be February for your eas. My buddy just signed his as well that's still going thru it. So yall will roughly have the same timeline as they do the eas in batches.@noahscr @louannshoe hey guys i have a question so I got my findings back dec 15 and I signed them dec 18 I’m taking leave in January because I am honestly so sick and tired of the military and I need a mental break as I thought I would’ve been out a long long time ago I’ve been on the board for 2 years now well my question is how can I go about getting PTAD my command sucks and I know nothing about it I always hear PTAD but I don’t really now how that works I’m burning all my leave days now which is only 13 days and I have yet to get my new EAS but I heard it takes 2 weeks and it hasn’t been 2 weeks yet
I got m new EAS in one week. It seems like they generally populate on Thursday mornings, so I’d check today. I printed the maradmin 170/14 and took it to my S-1 before I did my outbound interview. The PTAD is command discretion so it’s possible that they could deny it. Buuuuutt if your command denies it you can call mmsr-4 and ask for a different EAS@noahscr @louannshoe hey guys i have a question so I got my findings back dec 15 and I signed them dec 18 I’m taking leave in January because I am honestly so sick and tired of the military and I need a mental break as I thought I would’ve been out a long long time ago I’ve been on the board for 2 years now well my question is how can I go about getting PTAD my command sucks and I know nothing about it I always hear PTAD but I don’t really now how that works I’m burning all my leave days now which is only 13 days and I have yet to get my new EAS but I heard it takes 2 weeks and it hasn’t been 2 weeks yet
I got my DD 214 a few days after I filled out my outbound interview so I dk maybe thats all contingent on command as well. I got my EAS on Nov 2 did the outbound on the 7th and had my DD 214 on the 9th.You can't take ptad until you get your new eas. Maybe your rpac is just better lol. They said it's due to processing. Also in regards to the changing eas from mmsr-4 I called before I got out and asked about that and they said they can't do it unless there's a valid reason.I got my DD 214 a few days after I filled out my outbound interview so I dk maybe thats all contingent on command as well. lol geez that’s too funny, when I talked to the guy at mmsr-4 he said they change them all the time and it was not a big deal at all, he was a Cpl though so maybe he didn’t knowMaybe your rpac is just better lol.
