Good Morning,

Below is my timeline so far. I've been told by my PEBLO that he is sending my stuff to the PEB, and that I should have a 6-8 week wait to hear anything back. I do have aquestion pertaining to LIMDU SMART if anyone is smart on it: Besides my original referred conditions, I claimed everything wrong with me on my C&P exams. Now, under the C&P Reconciliation page in LIMDU SMART, there is a selected radial button signed by the MEBAA that states: I have reviewed all documentation, considered all medical conditions (referred and claimed) and severity, DO NOT RECOMMEND added new referred condition(s).

What does that mean? Does this mean that what I claimed on the C&P exams is going to be invalidated? Is this normal?

This is typically normal. It means they will not add any referred conditions in case of your DoD%. VA% is a separate thing.

Thank you. I guess I'm wondering that they consider "adding referred conditions." Does this mean the DoD will only consider the conditions that I was originally referred for, and not any claimed conditions that are validated on the C&P exams that I claimed?

That’s correct, yes. I believe you can attempt to add referred conditions during your IMR and once you receive your findings, by requesting a FPEB
 
Ok, thanks. I don't have any clue as to how the DoD will rate my current referred conditions. If found unfit, I'm hoping for at least 30% DoD, soo I can be retired vice separated. The claimed conditions are a lot more heavy hitting than what I was referred for. Then again, who knows. Sounds like I'm in for a decent wait. Shame they can't tell me an estimate or something so I can get started on a skillbridge.
 
DoD% is based off what the VA rater gave your referred condition/conditions. If your VA claim says closed on the app, you can call the 1-800 number and get your VA letter earlier than usual. Then, you can see what they rated your referred condition. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries since you’re not technically supposed to get it. Kind of a cheat code. I assume the Navy has some sort of Marine Online thing. I got two notifications back in April saying my PEB case was recommended/accepted. After it said PEB case accepted, my VA claim closed about 25 days later. I called the next day to receive my VA letter.
 
UPDATE!

I was able to look in My Navy Assignment and look at 'My Sailor Info' and my DCAT has been updated to "Non-Deployable - IDES - PEB accepted." Is anyone able to give me more info on that? does that mean I'm going to be found unfit, or does it simply mean my case has made it to the PEB and they are going to be reviewing it?

Don’t quote me, but I believe it simply means your PEB case is about to be reviewed. I called my PEBLO a lot and she actually told me I was found unfit before my VA claim closed and the findings came back. Best of luck! Keep us updated

Yes, actually! I noticed in My Navy Portal I had a My Navy Career Center case opened that stated “Member awaiting notification of PDRL, TDRL, Separation or Retirement.” I called my PEBLO and he was able to see that the PEB did determine that I am unfit. But he was unable to tell me any percentages since it is going to PERS, and then the VA for ratings. Said to expect about another month for the VA to do their thing.

Check your VA App! Once it closes out there, you can request your disability letter. Then, you can see what they rated your referred conditions at and see what your DoD% would be.

I don't even have anything in my VA App or the website, so I'm assuming it must not be processed completely. side note, the App and the website both won't let me update my direct deposit information. Is this a known issue, or do I need to call a help desk?

you won't see anything pop up on the VA app until its done. You can call your MSC for status updates. My case populated on the VA app as soon as it was completed.

As far as requesting your letter, you need to have them send it to you via the 1000 number. It may take you a couple tries due to the fact a lot of them are told they can't give it to us since were in the IDES program.

Login to LIMDU Smart, Scroll down and click on the "View eMEBR Form" Button. From the next page, click the C&P Reconciliation tab. Then, under C&P/DBQ Documentation, click "View Form" and it should download the file.

I had my exams 6/24 and 6/25. Where on limdusmart did you see your DBQ's?
