No harm in posting here. I replied in your thread. Not sure how helpful, but that is all I could really tell. Hope things go well for you!
Jason if I wanted to send you a private message how do I do so... Do I use the "contact us" section at the bottom or is there another way to do so?
Hello Jason, New member here! Not really new because I have been watching you and maparker for awhile. I see your an attorney and I was curious what your fees maybe. I need some help with my FPEB. DA FM 199 is a mess

I am traveling for PEB hearings, so have limited chance to reply. You can check out my services at www.peblawyer.com. Will respond to your inquiry in when I return. Thanks for the question and I hope all goes your way!
Hey Jason, Thanks for making this site! I've gotten a lot of info form these forums so far but I am in need of specific advice/help. I just got my IPEB rating of 20% (back) and another 10% (knee) which means I only get separated instead of retired. What is the possibility of the AF giving me the 30% for retirement? I only got MEB'd for my back, can I add in the knee problem in the appeal?

The VA C&P exam found I have a torn meniscus in my knee. I'm not sure if the AF has taken this into account. Can the FPEB give me a lower % than the IPEB?

The FPEB can only find conditions fit or unfit. If they find your knee not unfitting, then you will not be rated (and, in that way, they can "lower" the percentage you receive). However, they cannot change the rating assigned for each condition- the VA assigns ratings.

    OK, thanks Jason! Big help.
Jason.... looks like the thunder and spurs are the only ones who did nothing in the off season.......... but the real reason is can you look at this post I made: CRSC Question... i am about to submit CRSC and dont know what to do....
Jason, I have a question. I just got my proposed ratings from the IPEB for RSD of the foot. I got a 90% from the VA total for a number of things but only a 30% for the RSD under a code 8524. Now, since the way RSD is rated and the VET should be afforded the higher of the ratings if two ratings explain the same symptoms. Should I appeal under a code 8520
Jason! I need some advice! Anything is much appreciated. I'm in the USMC. VA sent proposed ratings to PEB May 29, 2012. It is now July 21 2012 and I have heard nothing from my peblo. Nearly two months seems a little strange.. Your thoughts?

I wish I could say that this is strange. There is a wide degree in variability in time processing. I am not surprised they have not given you any more info. You can try checking with your PEBLO, but they are unlikely to know much until they get findings back. Good luck!

Thanks for the input! Fingers crossed
I'm sorry to bother you but I don't know what to do so I was found unfit to return to duty back in April when my findings came back in May I was ok with the decision to medical retire me from the service. When it was time to recieve order COC decided to do a general under honorable conditions for minor misconduct infractions
I read on this forum that some members had filed a suit for Type 1 Diabetes against the VA or military(I'm not sure which) and had their percentage raised from 20% to 40%. I'm trying to get some information together that I can present when I meet with my attorney. If anyone has anything they can send me it would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached by email at [email protected]. Ryan
