    USMC Reserves, Injured with LOD

If you're found unfit, you'll be separated from service. Just like AD, <30% is a severance package, 30% or higher is disability retirement. You won't be drilling anymore. You'll be out of the service.

Question about my recent findings of 70% DOD PDRL/90% VA

The confusion is with VA numbers though, right? VA is still proposed, even after you sign EOO. You're mostly signing for DOD numbers....the VA rating can change even after that.

    Questions for tdrl

4-6 weeks *ISH* after you signed your findings with PEB.

    Questions for tdrl

Go to the mynavyhr page, go to "forms," and find the separation checklist. NPPSC 1900/1, I believe.

    Questions for tdrl

Start your separation package, so that when the separation authorization message comes through, your CPPA can submit everything to TSC Norfolk immediately.

    TDRL to PDRL question

    Possible but unlikely.

    Separation package/ Message traffic

You'll still get that separation authorization message. You still gotta submit your package to TSC. Main difference is officer orders come via detailer/community manager chop chain, not generated at TSC. Still delivered in NSIPS though.

    Separation package/ Message traffic

Yes, you have to submit a separation package to TSC Norfolk. And by "you," I mean your CPPA. Go to the mynavyhr site, go to forms, and look for the separation checklist. I believe it's the NPPSC 1900/1, but maybe it's the 1800/1? Anyway, it's there. DON'T DO a separation physical. Other than...

70/100 TDRL Puzzled by IPEB reasoning - Need sanity check.

Good luck arguing. You're not the first and won't be the last, but you're wasting your effort.

70/100 TDRL Puzzled by IPEB reasoning - Need sanity check.

You can't appeal TDRL vs PDRL. Specific to this case, you are *required* by law to be placed TDRL for PTSD, except in the very most severe cases. As @Provis said, your other conditions may be permanent, but if you have even one condition rated temporary, you will be TDRL overall until it is...

Round 33402 of TDRL cannabis use

Never seen a rule in writing specifically for YDRL. As @RonG pointed out, you're retired....but only temporarily. So, if you gotta do it before you get to that "P" status....just make damn sure it doesn't get into your record in writing.

    Absolutely classic line.

    What's the actual question?

60% DOD tldr, but 30% of that is stable. How will this play out?

Well, that's sort of apples and oranges. What I was saying is that you can't be both PDRL and TDRL at the same time. Like, your category is one or the othet. What she's saying is, overall you are TDRL, but this condition here is considered permanent already, so you won't get reevaluated on...

Admin Sep after medical retirement date.

For *almost* all cases, CNPC is the authority for dual-processing cases. When it isn't CNPC, it's his boss, CNP. And the reason for that is, legal doesn't trump medical, and medical doesn't trump legal. It's situationally dependent, and what you have is two sets of U.S. code in conflict. One set...

60% DOD tldr, but 30% of that is stable. How will this play out?

@RonG can you clarify what you mean? I have definitely seen Navy TDRL at 30% and 40%.
  17. P

60% DOD tldr, but 30% of that is stable. How will this play out?

It won't be split out that way. Right now you are TDRL. Later, if you are found PDRL, you'll be given a percentage that is all PDRL. You can't be half and half. And, percentage is determined by the severity of the condition IAW 38 CFR, not whether it is temporary or permanent. I have seen 100%...

My Timeline - Currently Waiting on VA for Ratings

2-4 weeks, up to 6, for PEB to convert your approved findings to an Index and send to PERS.
  20. P

My Timeline - Currently Waiting on VA for Ratings

That can take 4 weeks or more. Depends on timing of internal PEB processes.
