Current Time Line A/D USMC

Man I would’ve just chosen LDES at this point too. Good luck to you lol
It doesn't seem to be helping me in any way! Only chose it for speed but it looks like it won't be paying off.

I can't remember if it was here or the fb group but someone said they're trying to work through the majority of them before the new year
I really hope this is true. All I keep thinking is how much it is going to slow down because of all the 96's coming up.

All I see is additions to mental health claims, anxiety ✔, adjustment disorder ✔, depression ✔. It aint even about the money, its about how they dont care and make the process hell for us.
yet we cant claim any additional things until we are separated. Even then we would probably be f'ing ourselves over by bringing more attention to us and having the VA reopen all of claims to "reassess" them.... :/

Not really, they would be new claims and it's a fairly simple process

How long after my proposed ratings are sent to the PEB will/should i find out if im unfit/fit?

There's no timeline. VA process and PEB process have been working concurrently since Nov so just because ratings are done doesn't mean you're closer to a decision
VA completed my proposed ratings in June. I'm still waiting for the PEB to say fit/unfit

Do any of you guys know how to tell if your VA rating is permanent and total after you receive your proposed rating letter from the VA? I’ve read through it and can’t find anything. Or do I have to wait until the ratings are finalized to see if I’m P&T?

Read on other forums that if P&T, it will mention something about Chapter 35 for your dependent.

From VA website:

You may be eligible for VA education benefits (Chapter 35 benefits) if you’re the child or spouse of a Veteran and one of the descriptions listed below is true of the Veteran.

One of these must be true. The Veteran:

  • Is permanently and totally disabled due to a service-connected disability, or
  • Died while on active duty or as a result of a service-connected disability

You guys are awesome. I just saw it towards the end where it says my dependents are eligible. Thank you all for your continued help!

I have been reading through all of the threads about the rumors of 50-65 cases a week, how exciting. Im at 179 days right now since submitted and 104 since accepted in mol and 77 days with the medical officer. Hoping this all ends soon, for all of us.
