Hello all, First Time Long Time. Curious about my timeline.

April-ish 2022 - Placed on LIMDU for ACL Tear, 3rd tear same knee, requires 2 surgeries
16 May - First surgery
September-ish - 2nd LIMDU period denied by PERS, case directed to go to MEDBOARD
13 October - Legal Check in
9 November - VA Intake Call
29 November - C&P Exams scheduled, but cancelled. All appointments were at the same time as my surgery, and was told by my PEBLO my case is placed on "Deferment" until after my 2nd surgery
19 December - ACL R Surgery
3 Feb 2023 - C&P Exams scheduled, "deferment" status removed.
15 Feb - C&P Exams complete (Head to Toe, Mental, Dental, Audio, At Home Sleep Study)

I've seen some of my DBQ's populate and have read the diagnoses. I'm not sure I totally agree with some so I'm sure I'll appeal.

The next step is my NMA is created/signed, then my case goes to the MEDBOARD for FIT/UNFIT? After that I'll get ratings? A general overview of what to expect next would be nice.

Thank you!

1 AUG Update (been a while)

Believe everything is submitted to the board today. PEBLO told me 3-4 months for findings, then 60-90 days to separate. I, personally, have a feeling it will be much quick than that.

Called VA Hotline today, on 10AUG the VA provide a "proposed estimate" - 100% for service connected disabilities. This is contingent on USN agreeing I'm UNFIT right? Not sure how to take this.

Does this hold weight that I am going to be rated 100%, or is it subject to change? Waiting on IDES attorney to get back to me.

Here's another reply into the void, hopefully it'll help someone someday.

Spoke with my PEBLO today, I've been found UNFIT but case has been with/at QA since 28SEP (funny bc I've spoke with him numerous times since and he's said each time "no update", these people don't respect anyone).

He told me expect another 2-3 weeks before I receive my findings. I'm expecting to start terminal mid-Nov, just from what I've seen online.

Are you navy? I’ve been waiting since June 28th.

Yup, Navy. Your case has been with the PEB/VA since June 28? Thats kind of wild
Got accepted to PEB July 5th and VA sent ratings back August 8th. Found unfit August 30th but that timeline confuses me because how did I get VA before fitness determination, so idk what’s the hold up. Hopefully this is the week.
