What happens if the government shuts down?

Most DoD Civilians will get furloughed (laid off) while the government is shut down, that means that your PEBLO, as well as most other civilians involved in your case won't be at work, so you might have some communication lag, and it might slow your case down by a couple of days, but overall I...

    MEB and Unit Status

Unless you get moved to another job/billet, then yes. You should still accrue time for badges, at least on the Army side.

When can I file for an increase?

You are referring to VA compensation and not your DoD disability percentage, correct? I would go ahead and file for an increase, the most painless way is through va.gov. You don't necessarily have to start a new claim, va.gov has an option to file for an increase.

    CRSC questions/concerns

Update to this thread* I was able to do an extensive deep dive into my medical records and pull every single diagnosis, doctors note, and account of my experiences. These along with a few additional service records showing where I was at certain times should hopefully satisfy the CRSC God's...

    Navy Timeline and Question

If you choose VA Pay you will be entitled to the other benefits still (Tricare, Base access, etc.) As long as you are rated over 30 percent on the DoD side.

Have you checked va.gov? There is now an option to view decision letters in there.

    Low IPEB results, please help!

I wouldn't worry that much about TDRL. The vast, vast majority of the time you will end up PDRL within the next year or two. Good luck!

    TDRl or PDRL?

It is almost a certainty that you will be TDRL, however, as Chaplain Charlie pointed out, you will most likely never have to go back active duty unless you really really want to. Expect TDRL, then with a year or so you get another exam and usually PDRL after that.

    CRSC questions/concerns

I don't have a CAB. Never felt like I deserved one, I saw many people around me get them for some uh, questionable reasons. But I was a traveling fobbit. Indirect fire? sure but I never had to shoot anyone and for that reason I never pressed the issue. Saw plenty of wounded/dead throughout my...

    CRSC questions/concerns

Gotcha. It's difficult to trace a MH issue to a single incident. I suppose I should probably ask my old OIC to write up a letter corroborating specific events? My deployment was kind of unique in that I was an individual augmentee and didn't have the admin support of a real unit.

    CRSC questions/concerns

An AAM.. gotta love the rank based award system. It started out as an ARCOM but was later downgraded. Just the typical deployment info is on it "service in a combat zone" etc.

    CRSC questions/concerns

Good afternoon, I went through the MEB process about two years ago (2021), and was found 70% DoD due to MH, and 100% VA. I recently applied for CRSC. My 199 states a few times that my disability is a direct result of Armed conflict. My DBQ letter from the VA states the same. I sent my...
