I am currently researching my options for various retirement scenarios.

My story is as follows:

Joined 7 Nov 2002(enlisted)
Was selected for Green to Gold (3-year program) in Aug 2005-May2008
I entered the reserves in May 2008-Aug 2017(officer), consisting of various long ADOS tours totaling five years AD.
Returned to regular AD in August 2017-Present(MAJ as of 2021)

My PEBD is 7 Nov 2002
Currently, my BASD is 14 April 2014(still being adjudicated by my retention office)

I have not started the MEB process nor been notified of one. But recently, my body has started to react to all the stress it has been under over the last 21 years including recent back surgery.

After talking to my PCM I anticipate being rated at 100% VA and 80-100% CRSC based on various injuries sustained during my deployment as well as war simulations.

I am seeking an estimate on how much I could receive if the above factures are true. I understand it will be a rough estimate.

Hello,

1. You can find the amount of VA compensation you might receive at:

2024 Veterans disability compensation rates | Veterans Affairs <—LINK

2. Your disability retired pay pay will be the higher of
—longevity multipler x average high three base pay
OR
—the DoD disability multiplier x average high three

note: High three average is the total of the highest 36 months of pay divided by 36.

3. Your retired pay will be reduced the amount determined at item one.

4. Your CRSC will be the lesser of
—longevity retirement amount
OR
—the approved CRSC percentage amount using the same tables found at item one
Any residual retired pay will reduce the CRSC maximum Amount.
