Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP)

Anyone in the Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, or Norfolk area currently in the PEB phase. I was found unfit 23OCT24 and trying to gauge a timeline for the VA to send my findings. Been seeing 60-85 day turnaround from other branches and locations here on this forum. Please share or drop some knowledge/timelines if willing. Thanks.

Anyone having any luck with the DD-214 process?
Yeah, just talked to my admin dept. They have to create a salesforce transaction w/ proof if you have anything not correct. Beyond that, you can accept via NSIPS. If you can't accept via NSIPS, then it also requires a Salesforce transaction.

Okay need to get on my ADMIN then cause I can see it in NSIPS but has been saying "DD214 pending transmission to OMPF" for about 2 weeks now!!!

Pro tip I just came across!!! Log in to MyNavyPortal and click on your name. Drop menu click on CASE STATUS and will show:

12/15/2024 01:39 PM GMTAssigned-processingRetirements/SeparationsPDRL/TDRLNotification of Processing – Sailor pending PDRL, TDRL, or SEPSEV decision.

I'm assuming this is the date while in PEB the VA either 1) starts working on your DOD rating and VA rating or 2) Completed the rating and sent it back to PEB for their review before PEBLO receives the ratings and reaches out.

PLEASE if I'm wrong or anyone can clarify this information please do share!
I had the same thing pop up for me 3 weeks ago not sure exactly what this means if someone could explain i would appreciate it.

It's basically where MNCC has been notified of your pending PEB decision. It starts the ball rolling on some background stuff and creates a paper trail to expedite final outprocessing. I got this from my admin dept lead prior to my retirement.

I still don’t know what the decision is if I’m found fit or unfit. But I guess they know already?

While its not directly stated, thet notification wouldn't be sent to PERS if you were found fit. You'd just have orders or a simple notification from message traffic.

So basically because this popped up on my account I was most likely found unfit?

That would be my estimation. I don't have any insight into instruction, just the results that I've seen through empirical data.
