USAF Return to Duty Timeline (hopefully)

Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me if I have had a normal timeline? This seems a bit outrageous. I have also been offered my dream assignment if I can get rid of my assignment availability code by the end of February. Does anyone have any insight on if this even possible? Also, would anyone who has been found fit mind sharing their timelines? I would ask my PEBLO, but he is extremely argumentative.

I’m just trying to stay optimistic on this job offer that been given to me. If you need any additional dates from me please let me know.

IRILO began: 11/4/2021
VA exams: 06/02/22 - 10/14/22
Signed Narsum/package : 12/19/22 (MEB/Return to duty)
MyFSS PEB notification: 1/21/23

My first trip through the process was < 6 weeks, with a RTD determination. So it is possible. But I had a B plan, just in case.

Was your Assignment Availability Code changed and did you get an Assignment Limitation Code? I'm asking because I'm awaiting notification and hoping for a Retain but not sure what to make of my (as of today) updated Career Data Brief. It's now showing an Assignment Limitation Code of C2 which leads me to believe that I'm being retained however my Assignment Availability Code still shows 37. I'm hoping this means that I can stay in and that the 37 will fall off in a few days but I'm afraid to get my hopes up.

I’m not C2 coded, I only have the 37 on my career data brief. Hopefully the C2 code is a good thing!? How long ago did you Medboard conclude?

I'm not sure if my IRILO concluded. I signed my CIS and sent back to my PEBLO for him to forward my NARSUM up last week and from what I've seen on this forum, AFPC usually makes the determination of RTD or Full MEB within a week or two. Initially my Career Data Brief has been showing the Code 37 only, but tonight I saw an addition of an Assignment Limitation Code C2 which (according to more research) is usually given when AFPC's decision is to RTD. A C2 means that you can PCS to CONUS and even overseas with gaining base approval so I'm hoping this means that I'm good to go. My confusion is due to my career data brief still showing a Code 37 as well which I'm hoping means "they" simply haven't removed it yet.
