Hurry up and wait?

Hello everyone! I’ve been reading forums on this page for a while now and finally decided to make an account to post my timeline and some concerns I have.

Nov 2020- MEB initiated
Jan 2021- Exams Complete
March 16- Got Narsum (IMR)
March 31- Signed updated Narsum and sent to PEB.

Now my concerns are
1) I checked the CMS dashboard and it’s showing 40 days for the IPEB step. The other 2 steps underneath haven’t populated yet. I feel as though this is a long time for one step because reading other people’s posts about there dashboard and the highest I’ve seen on IPEB step was 30.

2) I’ve reached out to PEBLO and Supervisor for updates about 2 times now since the PEB package was sent. No response.

Has anyone had similar wait times on the IPEB step? Is that site even accurate?

TIA and have a good day!

So 90 days total from entering the PEB and the appeal?

Yeah that does seem odd for 1 condition to take that long. Also, are you army?

I see a lot of this, and honestly I was guilty of it as well. Somebody, maybe on here maybe not I can't remember put it into perspective for me. Would you rather they pump thorough them quickly(most likely missing things) or would you rather they were Me personally I would rather they were thorough. I think this will save me time money and aggravation on the back end. I get it we all have our reasons for wanting to get past this and on with our lives. That's short term thinking, what about the potentially thousands of dollars we could be leaving on the table, or the lost wages we will suffer when we need to be reevaluated later? Ok I'm gonna get off my soapbox now

I felt that way in the beginning, but now I am on my third extension.....

May be the last update I give and I know that on my thread I’ve kind of been all over the place. But to anyone in the future I hope it helps to give some sort of timeframe to this process.

June 23: Got 199 and signed and sent back.

June 24: Received separation memo and no later than date

June 29: Received official orders from MPD.

It moves hella fast after you get 199 and MPD doesn’t play around about giving them a DA 31 and the commanders counseling that comes with the separation memo. They need that to cut you orders and you have 3 working days to give it to them. So once your Command team receives separation memo and no later than date you should immediately ask to schedule a sit down with commander to discuss your leave dates and PTDY to put on a DA 31. For my locations MPD, the DA 31 only needed to be a working DA 31 (With my signature and the Supervisors signature, not the Approving Authority signature).

God Bless you all! This forum has been awesome and puts some ease on this process!

It looks like the PEB is finished with their portion on your case and you should contact your peblo. Now they are putting together their findings (Writing memos). Since there is no date in the far right. Your PEBLO may not be able to tell you anything until the findings are completed and your 199 is solidified. Check this again tomorrow and see if that -6 turns to a -5 that means its still with someone.

the goal column shows how long the army says that step should take.
Actual is how long it has taken so far
delta is how far +/- you are from the goal
average is how long others have taken to complete this step with in the last 90 days
delta again is where you are at currently from this above avg +/-

I called my peblo today and he said that he hasnt received anything. but that for the understanding about how the +/- works. I am just very impatient and just want to start a new chapter and leave this behind as a memory lol

Hmmm. Did your commanders statement not agree? Not enough evidence to prove? If you don’t mind me asking lol. Because now im kind of concerned that that is why mine is taking so long......
Just an update... I received my amended 199 today. Apparently my appeal letter was good enough for them to overturn their presumption of fitness and I ended up with 50/100.
